MICHAEL KIMMERLY

MOUNT OLIVE -- Michael John Kimmerly, 61, died Tuesday.
He was a native of Toledo, Ohio, and was the son of Phyllis R. Kimmerly of Rocky Mount and the late Esson Faxon Kimmerly.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by two daughters, Michelle Medina and husband Gilberto of Rocky Mount and Melissa McCarthy of Four Oaks; one son, John David Kimmerly and wife Amanda, serving with the U.S. Army; one brother, Jeffery David Kimmerly and wife Bridget of Toledo, Ohio; and 10 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends Saturday from 1 until 2 p.m. at Bowling Funeral Home in Rocky Mount. A memorial service will follow in the funeral home chapel.
