FAYE JOHNSON

KENLY -- Faye Wall Johnson, 77, died Wednesday at Smithfield Manor.
The funeral will be conducted today at 6 p.m. in the chapel of Parrish Funeral Home in Selma. The Reverends Braxton Creech, Thomas Ward and Terry Dennis will officiate. A committal service will be conducted at 10 a.m. Saturday in Selma Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Johnson was a native of Johnston County and was the daughter of Letha Hatcher Wall and the late Thurman Cleother Wall. She graduated from Glendale High School with perfect attendance for the entire 12 years.
In addition to her mother, Mrs. Johnson is survived by her husband, Edgar A. Johnson; three daughters, Vera J. Wright of North Myrtle Beach, S.C., Deborah J. Davis of Rocky Mount and Wanda J. Johnson of Apex; tow sons, Edgar A. Johnson and James T. Johnson of Kenly; two brothers, T.C. Wall Jr. of Grandy and Nerry Wall of Pink Hill; one sister, Nancy Radford of Kenly; and 13 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and five step-great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home following the service this evening.
Flowers are acceptable, or memorial donations may be made to Faith Free Will Baptist Church Building Fund, 8049 Old Beulah Road, Kenly.
