PIKEVILLE -- Roland Edwards, 79, of 120 Antioch Loop Road, died Tuesday.
The funeral will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Hamilton Funeral Home. Interment will be in Spruill Cemetery.
He is survived by two daughters, Mary Louise Barfield of Alexandria, Va., and Cheryl Sasser of Fremont; one son, Phillip Spruill of San Francisco, Calif.; one sister, Sarah Jane Edwards of Goldsboro; and four grandchildren.
The viewing will be from 3 until 8 p.m. on Friday at Hamilton Funeral Chapel.
The family will receive friends at the home of Doris Joyner, 613 Eleventh St., Goldsboro.
