JOSEPH KOSUDA

Retired U.S. Air Force Tech. Sgt. Joseph Kosuda, 72, of 201 Rose Drive, died Monday at Kitty Askins Hospice Center.
The funeral will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. at Seymour Funeral Home Chapel with Chaplain Stewart Smith officiating. Burial with full military honors will follow at Wayne Memorial Park.
Tech. Sgt. Kosuda was born in Munhall, Pa., to the late Michael and Anna Mae Stupar Kosuda. He retired from the Air Force with 20 1/2 years of service.
He is survived by his wife, Valerie Sharpe Kosuda; one daughter, Julie Aument, and her husband, Bruce, of Raleigh; one son, Joseph L. Kosuda, and his wife, Anne, of Goldsboro; one sister, Geraldine Odoski, and her husband, Bill, of Pittsburgh, Pa.; one brother, Leonard Kosuda, and his wife, Janet, of Pittsburgh, Pa.; and four grandchildren, Christopher Aument, Michelle Aument, Kelli Kosuda and Kaitlyn Kosuda.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Rose Marie Butko, and two brothers, Richard Kosuda and Michael Kosuda.
The family will receive friends Wednesday from 7 until 9 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home, and other times at the home of Joseph and Anne Kosuda, 114 Bear Creek Road, Goldsboro.
