KINSTON -- Ernestine "Pocket" Britten, 73, of 603 Darby Ave., died Tuesday at Lenoir Memorial Hospital.
The funeral will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. at Mills Funeral Home Chapel. Pastor Anthony Davis will officiate. Burial will be in Mills Memorial Garden.
Surviving are three daughters, Jackie Lewis of Ft. Washington, Md., Gloria Sheppard of Raleigh and Diane Jones of Kinston; one son, Lonnie Britten of Raleigh; two sisters, Ina Lofton and Erma Williams of Kinston; one brother, Thomas Britton of Kinston; and four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
The viewing hours will be from 4 until 8 today at Mills Funeral Home and the wake will be held there tonight from 7 until 8.
The family will receive friends at 603 Darby Avenue.
