SEVEN SPRINGS -- Bonnie Dell Barwick Outlaw, 80, died Wednesday at Wayne Memorial Hospital in Goldsboro.
The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday at Outlaw's Bridge Universalist Church. The Rev. Barry Whittemore and the Rev. Justin Lapoint will officiate. Burial will follow in the Outlaw Family Cemetery.
Mrs. Outlaw, daughter of the late J.C. and Carrie Grady Barwick, was a member of Outlaw's Bridge Universalist Church and the Association of Universalist Women. She was also a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of Pricetown Volunteer Fire Dept. and was a retired homemaker. In past years she had been employed with Albane Shirt Factory in Kinston. Her husband, Alonzo Outlaw, preceded her in death.
She is survived by eight children, Clark Lane and his wife, Ann, of La Grange, A.J. Outlaw and his wife, Gail, of LaGrange, Phyllis Outlaw of Seven Springs, Rebecca Outlaw Letchworth and her husband, Steve, of Goldsboro, Larry Outlaw of Seven Springs, Timothy Outlaw of Goldsboro, Robena Outlaw of Seven Springs, and Matthew Outlaw of Youngsville; a brother, Grady Barwick of Seven Springs; and five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
The Outlaw family will receive friends from 7 until 9 p.m. on Friday at Tyndall Funeral Home in Mount Olive. At other times, they will be at the home of Clark and Ann Lane, 410 North Caswell Street in LaGrange.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to Outlaw's Bridge Universalist Church Memorial Window Fund or the Pricetown Volunteer Fire Dept.
Tyndall Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
