SELMA -- The funeral for Margaret Benson Dixon, 67, was to be held today at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Parrish Funeral Home, with the Rev. Charles Pittman officiating. Burial was to be in Selma Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Benson died Friday.
Her survivors include two sons, Harold Stevens of Princeton and Leon Stevens of McGee's Crossroads; two daughters, Jackie Oliver Narron and Bonnie Oliver of Selma; three brothers, Durwood Benson of Smithfield, Bobby Benson of Pine Level and Duke Benson of Micro; three sisters, JoAnn Hester and Vickie Edwards of Princeton and Brenda House of Micro; and six grandchildren.
The family received friends on Sunday night from 7 until 9 at the funeral home.
