KINSTON -- Doris King, 70, of 702 Girl Scout Road, died Tuesday at Lenoir Memorial Hospital.
The funeral will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at Antioch Free Will Baptist Church with the Rev. Preston Harris officiating. Burial will be in Oak Hill Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. King is survived by her husband, Herman King; daughter Phyllis A. Simms of Wilson; three sisters, Mildred Artis and Alma Hopkins of Goldsboro and Verona Chisolm of Snow Hill; and two brothers, Scott Edwards III of Kinston and Frederick Edwards of Goldsboro.
The viewing hours will be from 2 until 8 today at Swinson Funeral Service, will include a wake from 7 until 8.
