James Edward Beck, 68, of 292 Rifle Range Road, died Thursday at Kitty Askins Hospice Center.
A graveside service will be held 11 a.m. Monday at the Pineview Cemetery. The Rev. Jerry Mitchell will officiate.
Mr. Beck is survived by his mother, Mary Belle Beck of Goldsboro; two daughters, Bonnie Beck Strickland and her husband, David, and Angie Beck Asbury and her husband, William, both of Goldsboro; one sister, Linda Mahon and her husband, Robert, of East Palestine, Ohio; and four grandchildren, James and Amanda Strickland, and Christopher and Matthew Abel.
He was preceded in death by his father, James Robert Beck; his wife, Elaine Beck; and two brothers, Paul R. Beck and Richard A. Beck.
The family will receive friends this evening from 7 until 8:30 at Howell Funeral Home & Crematory in Goldsboro.
