LORRIE F. SMITH

Lorrie Forehand Smith, 83, died Tuesday at her home in Dudley.
The funeral was held today at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home with the Rev. Blane Smith officiating. Burial was in Wayne Memorial Park.
Born in Wayne County, Mrs. Smith was the daughter of the late Isaac and Leana Anderson Forehand and the widow of Theron J. Smith. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Frances Lassiter. She was a member of Dudley Christian Church and the church choir.
She is survived by two brothers and their wives, Isaac Juette and Julia Forehand of Statesville and Gordon and Margaret Forehand of Madisonville, Tenn.; one sister, Jane Whitley of Lake Elsinore, Calif.; and number of nieces and nephews.
The family greeted friends at Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home immediately following the service this morning.
