Rossie D. Waters, 90, died Friday at Britthaven Nursing Home of Goldsboro.
The funeral will be held Wed-nesday at 1 p.m. at Mount Pleas-ant Mission-ary Baptist Church on U.S. 13 North. Pastor Larry M. Johnson will officiate. Burial will be in Old Mill Cemetery.
Surviving are three daughters, Esther (Herman) Lewis of Washington, D.C., and Barbara Best and Rossie Bell of Goldsboro; two sons, Eddie (Vickie) Waters of Dudley and James (Leora) Waters of Charlotte; two sisters, Sarah Coley of Goldsboro and Dice Edmundson of Norfolk, Va.; and 25 grandchildren, 44 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
The Eastern Star rites will be performed tonight at 7 at Hamilton Funeral Chapel, and the family will receive friends afterward until 8 p.m. At other times the family will be at the home of Rossie Bell, 1695 Tommy's Road.
