Riley Crannon Hood Sr., 80, of 1109 Dunn Road, died Monday at Lenoir Memorial Hospital.
A memorial service will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at Kinston Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses.
Mr. Hood is survived by his daughters and sons, Roseann Burrington and Rita Henley of Murray, Ky., Diane Loy of Russellville, Ky., Wanda Johnson of Southhaven, Miss., Donna Karney, Debbie Russell and Riley Hood Jr. of Memphis, Tenn., Scarlett Tanner of Hot Springs, Ark., Wiley Hood of Fayetteville, Ark., and Virgil Hood of Hollywood, Calif.; one brother, Hugh Hood of New Bern; one sister, Virginia Collins of Jacksonville; and 24 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren.
Rouse Funeral Home in LaGrange is serving the family.
