James Lee Faison, 80, a native of Goldsboro, died last Thursday at Greater Southeast Community Hospital in Washington, D.C.
The funeral will be held this Thursday at 11 a.m. at St. James A.M.E. Zion Church in Goldsboro. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
Mr. Faison is survived by his wife, Ethel M. Faison, and two sons, James Faison III and Franklin Von Faison Jr.
The family requests that donations in his memory be made to Goldsboro Dillard Alumni, P.O. Box 1146, Goldsboro.
The viewing will be at the church one hour prior to the service on Thursday.
Local arrangements are with Hamilton Funeral Chapel of Goldsboro.
