Inez Williford Britt, 82, of 320 Britt Road, died Saturday at Sampson Regional Medical Center in Clinton.
Born February 9, 1923, she was a homemaker.
A funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Monday at Saint Paul Free Will Baptist Church. The Reverends Roy Clifton and Dr. Ron Bradley will officiate. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Edwin Britt, in 1984.
She is survived by four daughters, Ila and husband, Gerry Hobbs of Newton Grove, Sue and husband, Ron Bradley of Beaufort, S.C., Bobbie Britt of Clinton, Janice and husband, Bob Hudson of Newton Grove; one nephew, David Williford and wife, Jo of Goldsboro; four grandchildren, Bonnie Warren and husband, Michael of Newton Grove, Robin Whitman and husband, Connie of Newton Grove, Lisa Tart and husband, Glenn of Newton Grove, and Kristie Lewis of Charlotte; four great-grandchildren, Madison Warren, Troy Whitman, Candice Tart and Natalie Tart, all of Newton Grove; one great-nephew, Kevin Williford of High Point; two sisters, Myrtle Smith of Princeton, and Ethel Bunkers of Las Vegas, Nev.; two brothers, Edison Williford of Newton Grove, and Eldridge Williford of Grantham.
The family will receive friends at Saint Paul Free Will Baptist Church this evening from 6 until 8.
