Alice Faye Stocks Thomas, 65, died Friday at Riverside Regional Medical Center in Newport News, Va.
A native of Pitt County, she was the daughter of the late Marvin Cleo and Irene Windom Stocks and was the widow of James Edgar Thomas. Mrs. Thomas was a member of the First Pentecostal Holiness Church.
The funeral will be held on Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Seymour Funeral Home Chapel. Pastor Jimmy Whitfield and Pastor Bill Rose will officiate. Burial will be in Wayne Memorial Park.
Mrs. Thomas is survived by one daughter, Zandra Lynn Lumia of Virginia; one son, James E. Thomas III of Goldsboro; three grandchildren, James Philip Leroy, Heather and Chris Luma; and one brother, Ben Louis Stocks of Ayden.
The family will receive friends tonight from 7 until 9 at the funeral home.
