Mayzell Boykin Hill, 90, of 5525 Packhouse Road, died Friday at Wilson Medical Center.
A funeral service was conducted Saturday evening at 7 from Shingleton Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Gordon Sebastian officiated. Interment will be held 2 p.m. today at Boykin Family Cemetery on Hwy. 42 E., near Kenly.
She is survived by eight daughters, Imogene Hill Murphy of Mebane, Marvelene Hill Carico of Wilson, Karen Hill Taylor of Maysville, Sandra Hill Phillips of Hubert, Elizabeth Hill Boyette of Eureka, Linda Hill White of Wilson, Sharon Hill Turnage of Elm City, and Debra Hill Walston of Wilson; one son, William J. Hill of Kenly; two special family friends; 25 grandchildren, 45 great-grandchildren, and nine great-great-grandchildren.
The family received friends at Shingleton Funeral Home Saturday following the service, and will other times at 5502 Packhouse Road in Wilson.
