Alice Faye Stocks Thomas, 65, died Friday at Riverside Regional Medical Center in Newport News, Va.
A native of Pitt County, she was the daughter of the late Marvin Cleo and Irene Windom Stocks and was the widow of James Edgar Thomas. Mrs. Thomas was a member of the First Pentecostal Holiness Church.
A funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday at Seymour Funeral Home Chapel. Pastor Jimmy Whitfield and Pastor Bill Rose will officiate. Burial will follow in Wayne Memorial Park.
She is survived by one daughter, Zandra Lynn Luma of Virginia; one son, James E. Thomas III of Goldsboro; three grandchildren, James Philip Leroy, Heather and Chris Luma; and her brother, Ben Louis Stocks of Ayden.
The family will receive friends Monday evening from 7 until 9 at the funeral home.
