James Matho Parker, 57, of 609 Sugg St., Beulaville, died Saturday at Guardian Care in Kenansville.
The funeral will be held Friday at 2 p.m. at Daisy Chapel Missionary Baptist Church in Beulaville. The Rev. Connie Best will officiate.
Mr. Parker attended Duplin County Schools, served in the U.S. Army, and was s member of Daisy Chapel Missionary Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Bertha Jane Parker of Jacksonville; one son, Rashad Boney of Kenansville; his mother, Jerlene Collins Parker, and his father, Matho Parker, both of Beulaville; and one sister, Eula Parker of Beulaville.
The viewing hours will be from 4 until 7 today at Rhodes Funeral Home in Warsaw.
The funeral procession will line up at the residence at 1:30 p.m. on Friday.
