MARY WELLINGTON
Mary Wellington, 80, of 1405 Poplar St., Apt. 21, died Wednesday at Duke Hospital in Raleigh.
She was the daughter of the late Charlie Waters and Lonnie Best.
Her survivors include two sons, Milton L. Waters of Goldsboro and the Rev. Danny Ray Wellington of Dudley; three daughters, Barbara W. Chambers of Raleigh and Irish Kay Turrentine of Durham and Deborah Fay Wellington of Winnsboro, S.C.; one brother, William Waters of New York; two sisters, Sarah Phillips of Dudley and Lillie W. Spruill of Goldsboro; and eight grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
The funeral will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Woods Chapel Free Will Baptist Church. Pastor Ricky Dawson will conduct the service. Burial will be in Old Mill Cemetery.
The viewing will be from 5 until 8 today at Rhodes Funeral Home in Goldsboro, and the family will be present from 7 until 8 p.m.
