WALLACE - Gladys Edwards Brown, of N.C. 11, died Saturday at Duplin General Hospital.
The funeral will be held on Saturday at 2 p.m. at St. John Missionary Baptist Church. Burial will be in the Wynn Cemetery, Mount Olive.
Surviving are four daughters, Kathryn Louise Edwards, Gwendolyn D. Edwards and Brenda Edwards of Wallace, Melinda Fennell of Massachusetts and Cindy Edwards Miller of Kenansville; one son, Robert M. Edwards of Wallace; three sisters, Irene Houston of Warsaw and Minnie Edwards and Louise Stokes of New York; four brothers, Burnice Edwards of Wallace, James Edwards of Louisiana and Willie Edwards and George Edwards of Teachey; and six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. at Matthews Funeral Chapel.
