Charles Irvin Gray, 64, died Wednesday at home.
A graveside service will be held Saturday at 10 a.m. at Wayne Memorial Park. The Rev. Edward Thornton will officiate.
Mr. Gray was born in Wayne County to the late Curtis H. and Imlay Stancil Gray. A veteran of the United States Army, he was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and the American Legion. He was employed as a core cutter at Waukesha Electric Co.
He is survived by a brother, Curtis H. Gray, Jr. of Carrollton, Texas; and one sister, Charlotte Thornton of Goldsboro.
The family will receive friends today from 7 until 9 p.m. at Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home, and other times at the home of Charlotte and Bobby Thornton, 136 Black Jack Church Road, Goldsboro.
