Edna Earl Ham Williams, 90, formerly of Snow Hill, died Friday on her birthday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
Mrs. Williams was a native of Greene County, born July15, 1915, the daughter of the late, Hiram and Cora Radford Ham. She was a life-long member of Jerusalem United Methodist Church and sang in the choir for many years.
The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. today in the chapel of Taylor-Tyson Funeral Service in Snow Hill, with the Reverends Al Sullivan and T.C. West officiating. Burial will be in Snow Hill Cemetery.
Mrs. Williams was preceded in death by her husband, Emerson Williams.
Her Surviving family includes her daughters, Linda Williams Davis and husband, Morris Ray, of Goldsboro, Myra Williams Santoro and husband, Robert, of Reston Va.; grandchildren, Tracy Santoro Passy of Ashburn, Va., John Michael Santoro of Herndon, Va., Kelly Nicole Santoro of Arlington, Va., April Harrison Fields and Amanda Harrison both of Snow Hill, Marsha Davis Dills of Cameron and Morris Ray Davis Jr. of Pikeville; her great-grandchildren, Juliana and Caroline Passy, Riley Santoro, Jared and Lauryn Fields; and a special niece, Irene Ham Barrow.
The family received friends Saturday from 7 until 9 p.m. at the funeral home, and other times at the home of April and John Fields, 4946 Hwy. 903 South, Snow Hill.
