Scott Dewayne Pullen, 30, of 2349 N. Beston Road, died Monday evening at his home.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday at 6 p.m. at El-Bethel Assembly, 2308 North William Street in Goldsboro.
Mr. Pullen was born in Fairfax, Virginia on February 14, 1975, to Virginia Hendrick Pullen and the late Walter Pullen. He graduated from Goldsboro High School in 1993 and was employed as a subcontractor with Lifetime Doors and Windows.
In addition to his mother, Virginia Pullen, he is survived by five brothers, Walter Allen Pullen of Georgia, William James Pullen of Illinois, Craig Michael Pullen of Wilson, Danny Eugene Pullen of LaGrange and Gary Kenneth Pullen of Greenville; his fiancée, Betty Grant, and her children, Patricia Forgie, Terrie Doundey and Billie Lane, and their eight children; his great-great grandmother, Evelyn Spiker of Oakland, Maryland; and a niece, Avenell Pullen.
The family will receive friends following at the church following the service on Thursday, and other times at the residence.
