PRINCETON -- Joseph Lineberry "Joe" Beasley Sr., 65, died Tuesday at his home.
The funeral will be held Thursday at 4 p.m. in the chapel of Parrish Funeral Home in Princeton. Dr. Glenn Griffin and Dr. Lawrence Pounds will officiate. Burial will be in the Mitchell Family Cemetery on Rains Crossroads Road.
Mr. Beasley was a native of Johnston County and was the son of the late George and Viola Benson Beasley.
He is survived by his wife, Donna Sanders Beasley; three sons, Joey Beasley of Four Oaks, Mark Beasley of Clayton and David Strickland of the home; one daughter, Kim Atkins of Four Oaks; two brothers, Gary Beasley and Jerry Beasley of Four Oaks; five sisters, Dorothy Perry of Apex, Diane Slope of Oracoke, Linda Lassiter of Four Oaks, Marvel Blackmon of DeLand, Fla., and Judy Tancreti of Denver, Colo.; and six grandchildren.
The family will receive friends today from 6 until 8 p.m. at Parrish Funeral Home in Princeton.
