Tony Allen Wallace, 39, died Sunday at the home of Keith and Amy Hales in the Nahunta community.

Born in Vance County, he was the son of Gladys R. Wallace of Dudley and the late Luby O. Wallace, Jr.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by a brother and sister-in-law, Terry and Karen Wallace of Dudley; a niece, Jessica Wallace of Dudley; one nephew, Wayne Wallace Jr. of Dudley; his special family that he lived with for many years, father, Carl Ray Hales of Pikeville; mother, Brenda Hales, and her companion, Robert Mitchell, of Pikeville; brothers, Michael Hales and fiancée Jane Carter of Pikeville, Kevin Hales of Pikeville and Keith and Amy Hales of Pikeville; nephews, Brandon, Alex and Austin Hales all of Pikeville; and numerous relatives and friends.

The funeral will be held tonight at 7 in the chapel of Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home, with the Rev. Don Sauls officiating.

The family will be receive friends at the funeral home immediately following the service, and at other times at the home Keith and Amy Hales, 3276 Nahunta Road, Pikeville.

The family requests that, in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to the Tony Wallace Memorial Fund, P.O. Box 167, Goldsboro, N.C., 27533.
