Nancy Brown Williams, 66, of 300 Connie Circle, died Tuesday at Wilcox Hospital in Kauai Island, Hawaii.
The funeral will be held Saturday at 7 p.m. in the chapel of Casey Funeral Home in Princeton. The Rev. Dick Lewis will officiate. The committal service will be held on Sunday morning at 8:30 at Princeton Cemetery.
Born August 30, 1938, she was the daughter of the late Charles Emmett and Eula Mae Snipes Brown. She was a clinical dietitian for 30 years and worked her last 16 years at Cherry Hospital before retiring. She was a member of the NC Dietetic Board for over 20 years and served as treasurer. A lifetime member of the Girl Scouts and Coastal Carolina Girl Scouts, she was the leader for Troop 695 for 25 years. She was a registered and licensed dietitian, was a recipient of the Highest Volunteer Award, and was a member of the Red Hat Society.
She is survived by two sons, Michael Keith Williams of the home and Charles Leonard Williams of Princeton; one daughter, April Lynn Williams of Raleigh; and three grandchildren, Alex Williams, Alston Williams and Noah Williams.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to and following the service on Saturday evening.
