Alice Croom, 71, of 1304 Dawson Station, died Friday at Pitt County Memorial Hospital in Greenville.
The funeral will be held Wednesday at 1 p.m. at Greater Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church. Pastor Lass Lassiter will officiate. Burial will be in Pinelawn Memorial Park.
Mrs. Croom is survived by her husband, Johnny Croom of the home; one daughter, Alice Suggs of Kinston; three sons, Lynwood Sutton of Hookerton, Welling Sutton of LaGrange and David Sutton of Kinston; one sister, Rose Sutton of Kinston.
The family will receive friends today from 4 until 7 p.m. at Loftin Funeral Home, at the church one hour prior to the service on Wednesday, and other times at the residence.
