LAGRANGE -- Wilbur Junior Heath, 57, of 2648 Sutton Loop Road, died Monday.
The funeral will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Rouse Funeral Home. The Rev. Ransome Carter will officiate. Burial, with military honors, will be in Fairview Cemetery.
Mr. Heath was born in Lenoir County to the late Ashley and Josephine Outlaw Heath. He served with the United States Navy and was retired from Smithfield Packing Company.
He is survived by his wife, Frances Barfield Heath; five daughters, Canary Albritton, and her husband, James, of Kinston, Benita Rodriguez and Dee Stallings, also of Kinston, Karen Pate and her husband, Tommy, of Seven Springs and Beth Panell of LaGrange; one sister, Joyce Cappolella of Allentown, Pa.; nine grandchildren, Jane Albritton, Nikki Albritton, Ryan Pate, Tyler Pate, Brittany Florence, Angela Florence, J.J. Stroud, Jody Stroud, and Pattie Panell; his father and mother-in-law, John and Dora Barfield of LaGrange; and his dedicated, loving canine companion, Molly.
The family will receive friends tonight from 7 until 8:30 at Rouse Funeral Home, and at other times at the residence.
