Walter Lee Wooten, 63, died Saturday, June 25, 2005, at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
The funeral will be held Wednesday at 1 p.m. in the chapel of McIntyre Funeral Home. Burial will be in Johnson Chapel Cemetery.
Mr. Wooten was the son of the late Cornelius Wooten Sr. and Priscilla Horner Wooten.
He is survived by his wife Delsorie Holloway Wooten; two sons, Jonathan Wooten of Charlotte and Christopher Wooten of the home; two daughters, Natalie Price of Phoenix City, Ala., and Felicia Swindle of Chandler Ariz., two brothers, Chester Wooten of the home and Cornelius Wooten Jr. of Spring Lake; three sisters, Julia Hines and Nancy Ward of Goldsboro and Priscilla Freeman of Los Alamos, N.M.; and five grandchildren
The viewing will be today from 1 until 6 at McIntyre Funeral Home and a wake will follow from 6 until 7 p.m.
