Billy Crocker Stallings Sr., 69, of 2710 Langston Drive, died Monday, June 27, 2005, at Kitty Askins Hospice Center.
The funeral will be held on Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the First Baptist Church, with the Rev. Scott Thraikill officiating. The committal service will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. at Chester Memorial Park in Chester, S.C., with the Rev. Kevin Taylor officiating.
Mr. Stallings was a native of Franklin County and was the son of the late John and Mamie Champion Stallings. He retired as a marketing consultant with Atlas Marketing and was a member of First Baptist Church.
Survivors include one son, the Rev. Billy C. Stallings Jr., and his wife, Teri, of Chester, S. C.; one brother, Bob Stallings of Raleigh; five sisters, Sallie Brown, Marie Sullivan, Louise Sparks and Inez Owens, all of Goldsboro, and Lola Lee of Monroe; grandchildren, Kristin and Landon Stallings of Chester, S.C., and Sean Jones and wife Angie of Chapel Hill; and great-grandchildren, Kaitlyn and Caroline Jones of Chapel Hill.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Patricia Ann Harrison; two sons, Allen Ray Stallings and Kevin Michael Stallings; two brothers, John E. Stallings, Jr. and Harrell Stallings; and a sister, Elsie S. Oddo.
The family will receive friends tonight from 7 until 9 at Seymour Funeral Home and Cremation Service.
