SALLIE JOHNSON
DUNN -- Sallie Margaret Bryan Johnson, 72, died Friday at Rex Hospital.
The Johnston County native was the daughter of the late Henry A. and Mary C. Bryan. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Alcy Graydon Bryan and Luther Perry Denning.
A funeral service will be held 2 p.m. today at Skinner & Smith Funeral Home. The Rev. Robert Capps will officiate. Burial will follow in Lee-Johnson Cemetery.
She is survived by her husband, Lee Johnson of Dunn; a daughter, Marilee Johnson of Raleigh; a sister, Mary Lou Park of Goldsboro; and a brother, Charles Denning of Dunn.
The family received friends Saturday from 3 until 5 p.m. at Skinner & Smith Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorials be made to Trinity Baptist Church, 7538 N.C. Hwy 50 S., Benson, N.C., 27504, or to Calvary Baptist Church, 283 N.C. Hwy 55, Dunn, N.C., 28334.
