DONALD CROSS
Frank Donald Cross, 64, of 133 Gurley Ave., died Friday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
A native of Wayne County, he was the son of the late Levi and Callie Williams Cross. He was a retired car salesman and had worked with C.L. Snipes Ford for many years. He was a member of Rosewood First Baptist Church and the Goldsboro Moose Lodge.
A memorial service will be held 11 a.m. Monday at Seymour Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Vernon Braswell will officiate.
Mr. Cross is survived by his wife of 42 years, Elaine Brock Cross and his two sons, Donald Eugene "Gene" Cross and wife, Conie, and Michael Allen Cross, all of Goldsboro; five grandchildren, Bradley Cross of Pine Level, Hunter Cross, Christina Cross and Samantha Cross, all of Dudley and Tammi Cross of the home; sister Annie Rose Everette of Goldsboro; two nieces and one nephew.
He was preceded in death by his brother, William H. (Billy) Cross and a sister, Joyce Cross Edwards.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Rosewood First Baptist Church, N.C. 581 S., Goldsboro.
The family will receive friends Sunday evening from 6 until 8 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home and other times at the residence.
