JOHN LANGSTON
DOVER -- The funeral for John William Langston, 75, brother of Betty Heath of LaGrange, will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Lane's Chapel United Methodist Church, where he was a member. Burial will be in the Griffin Family Cemetery.
Mr. Langston died Saturday.
He was the son of the late Phinnie Langston and Estelle Wagstaff Langston. He was retired from E. I. DuPont, was a veteran of the Korean War, and was a member of the American Legion.
In addition to his sister, Mr. Langston is survived by his wife, Mary Frances Langston of the home; one daughter, Jo Ann Langston Stallings of Dover; one son, David W. Langston of Richmond, Va.; and another sister, Evelyn Wetherington of Dover; one brother, J.D. Langston of Wilmington; and three grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
The family will receive friends tonight from 7 until 9 at Howard-Carter Funeral Home, and other times at the home of Jo Ann Stallings, 12650 N.C. 55 West, Dover.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Lane's Chapel United Methodist Church, 12040 Hwy. 55 West, Dover 28526.
