MOUNT OLIVE -- The funeral for Brenda Lee Harrell, 56, and her son, Christopher D. Harrell, 31, will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at St. John's Pentecostal Holiness Church in Bentonville. The Rev. Richard Parson and the Rev. Ronnie Massey will officiate. Burial will be in Hillcrest Cemetery in Newton Grove.
They died in an automobile accident on Thursday.
Surviving are Ms. Harrell's other son, Everett Franklin "Frankie" Harrell, and his two children of Four Oaks, and her daughter, Angela H. "Angie" Futrell, and her two children of Mount Olive; Chris' daughter, Kristen Leeann Harrell of South Carolina; Mrs. Harrell's mother, Annie Bell Lee of Four Oaks; her sisters, Mary L. Savage, Julia L. Westbrook and Sandra L. Mayo, all of Four Oaks; and her brothers, L.J. Lee of Four Oaks and Paul Lee of Salisbury.
They were preceded in death by her husband and his father, Charles E. "Teenie" Harrell, and Mrs. Harrell's father, Paul John Lee.
The family will receive friends today from 6 until 8 at West & Dunn Funeral Home in Newton Grove, and other times at the home of Angela and Norman Futrell, 925 Edwards Store Road, Mount Olive.
