WALTER BRYANT
RICH SQUARE -- Walter Edward Bryant, 84, father of Betty Jo Slozak of Goldsboro, died Saturday at Pitt Memorial Hospital in Greenville.
A graveside service will be held Tuesday at 1 p.m. at Cedar Lawn Cemetery in Rich Square, with the Rev. Steve Weaver officiating.
Mr. Bryant was the son of the late Pete Reddick Bryant and Daisy Belle Bryant.
In addition to Mrs. Slozak, her husband, Richard, and their two children, Kristopher and Taryn Slozak, he is survived by another daughter, Nancy Phillips of Rocky Mount, and her husband, Dennis, and their daughter, Amber Phillips; and a brother, Herbert Bryant and his wife, Irene, of Potecasi.
The family will receive friends at the cemetery following the graveside service.
Massey Funeral Home in Jackson is serving the family.
