ELIZABETH LEWIS
FREMONT -- Elizabeth Benson Lewis, 81, of 205 Dock St., died Wednesday morning at home.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held 11 a.m. Saturday at Fremont Free Will Baptist Church in Fremont. The Reverends Robert Langley and Barry Stallings will officiate.
Mrs. Lewis was born in Wayne County on July 12, 1923, to the late John Benson and Minnie Davis Benson. She was a member of Fremont Free Will Baptist Church.
She is survived by two sons, Lucky Lewis and wife, Cathy of Fremont and Douglas Lewis and wife, Moria of Massachusetts; one daughter, Esther Coker of Fremont; one sister, Annie Belle Parrish and husband, Pete of Lucama; and two grandchildren, Rebecca Lynn Coker and Alton Coker Jr.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Mathie "Mack" Lewis.
The family will receive friends following the service on Saturday at Fremont Free Will Baptist Church.
The family is being served by Shackleford-Howell Fu-neral Home in Fremont.
