JOHN PAGANELLI
Frank John Paganelli, 84, of Hwy. 13 South, died last Thursday.
The funeral will be held this Thursday at 10 a.m. at Fife Funeral Home in East Chicago, Ind. Burial will be at St. John Cemetery in Hammond, Ind.
Mr. Paganelli was born in Lake County, Indiana, to the late Alvaro and Amalia Paganelli. He was a World War II veteran of Airfaire' with fifty combat missions. He was a member of the American Legion, Catholic Order of Forresters, and the Fraternal Order of Firefighters. Mr. Paganelli started and was the first EMS with East Chicago Fire Department.
He is survived by two sons, Alan Paganelli of Las Vegas, Nev., and Thomas Paganelli of Indiana; one daughter, Laura Pishnak-Sylvia of LaGrange; one sister, Gloria Asbell of Texas; and 12 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Dores Kenzie Paganelli.
The family will receive friends today from 2 until 4 p.m. and 6 until 8 p.m. at Fife Funeral Home in East Chicago, Indiana.
Local funeral arrangements are being handled by Howell Funeral Home & Crematory in Goldsboro.
