KATHLEEN PLOURDE
Kathleen Ann Poirier Plourde, 57, of Greensboro and formerly of Goldsboro, died unexpectedly on Saturday in Wilmington.
The funeral was held today at noon at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church on Market Street in Greensboro.
Mrs. Plourde was a native of Biddeford, Maine, and was the daughter of the late George and Flora Belle Deotte Poirier. She was a nurse and was a graduate of Holy Ghost Nursing School in Boston, Mass.
She is survived by her husband of 36 years, William "Bill" Plourde; one son, Jeffrey William, and one daughter, Juile Ann; two brothers, John Poirier of Biddeford, Maine, and George Plourde of North Carolina; two sisters, Geraldine and Elizabeth of North Carolina; and three grandchildren.
