RAYMOND T. BRANN

FREMONT -- Raymond T. Brann, 67, died Tuesday at Wilson Medical Center in Wilson.

The funeral will be held tonight at 7 in the chapel of Shackleford-Howell Funeral Home in Fremont. The Rev. Patsy Jones and the Rev. Tony Hawley will officiate. A graveside service will be held on Friday at 11 a.m. at Hollywood Cemetery in Farmville.

Mr. Brann was born in Greene County to the late Herman Dee Brann and Claudia Butts Brann on March 23, 1938. He was a member of Stantonsburg Pentecostal Holiness Church and was a founding member of the Wilson County Rescue Squad.

He is survived by his wife, Rachel Goff Brann; one son, Kenneth Brann and his wife, Elizabeth, of Greenville; one daughter, Tammy Evans and her husband, Jamie, of Fremont; one brother, Billy Brann and his wife, Evelyn, of Snow Hill; one sister, Lynn Humphrey of Jacksonville, NC; and two grandchildren, Cameron and Makayla Evans.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one son, Thomas Ray Brann; one brother, Preston Brann; and one sister, Flossie Humphrey.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home following the service tonight, and other times at the residence at 208 North Pine Street in Fremont.
