CHARLES COSTON SR.

WARSAW -- The funeral for Charles Worth Coston Sr., 73, of 640 N. Gum St., will be held Saturday at noon in the chapel of Rhodes Funeral Home. Entombment will be in the Devotional Gardens.

Mr. Coston died Tuesday at Sampson Regional Medical Center in Clinton. He was a U.S. Army veteran and was retired from Atlas Trucking Company with 30 years of service.

He is survived by his wife, Emma Lanier Coston of the home; five sons, Tyrone Coston of New York City, Anthony Coston and Vincent Coston of Brooklyn, N.Y., Stevie Coston of Wallace and Edmond Coston of Atlanta, Ga.; one daughter, Eileen Askins of Queens, N.Y.; four sisters, Elnora Banks, Beulah Johnson and Shirley Campbell of Brooklyn, N.Y., and Barbara Jean Coston of Detroit, Mich.; and 20 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

The viewing will be at the church one hour prior to the funeral.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
