BILL ROUSE

LAGRANGE -- William Forrest "Bill" Rouse, 74, of 2763 Wildlife Street, died Wednesday at Pitt Memorial Hospital in Greenville.

A graveside services will be held Friday at 2 p.m. at Fairview Cemetery with the Rev. Greg Stancil officiating.

Mr. Rouse was born in Lenoir County to John Leslie and Blanche Rouse and was the widower of Eva Merle Rouse. In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by two children, Jennifer Gail Rouse and Billy Rouse; one sister, Ruth Suggs; and five brothers, Albert Lake Rouse, Maurice Rouse, Raymond Paul Rouse, Allen Welker "Bush" Rouse and John Leslie Rouse Jr.

Mr. Rouse was employed for 40 years with Barrus Construction Company and retired as vice president of operations.

He is survived by one son, John Rouse of Richlands; one daughter, Donna Rouse Riggs of Jacksonville; his granddaughter, Lauren L. Riggs; one brother, Jack Rouse of LaGrange; one sister, Pat Sullivan of Kinston; and a special friend, Betty Daughety of Kinston.

The family will receive friends tonight from 7 until 9 at Rouse Funeral Home, and at other times at the home of Mrs. Delphrey Rouse, 4528 Aldridge Store Road, LaGrange.
