BERT M. LEE SR.
KINSTON -- Bert Martin Lee Sr., 67, of 2789 Forrest Drive, died Wednesday at Duke University Medical Center in Durham.
The funeral will be held Saturday at 11 a.m.. in the chapel of Tyndall Funeral Home in Mount Olive. Dr. Bill Thompson will officiate. Burial will be in Maplewood Cemetery in Mount Olive.
Mr. Lee was a veteran of the U. S. Air Force and was retired from duPont Company in Kinston where he was a mechanic.
He is survived by his wife, Eleanor "Sally" Swinson Lee of the home; three daughters, Marsha L. Rowntree of Jacksonville, Dean L. Mizner of Kinston and Cheryl L. Coats of High Point; two sons, Bert M. Lee Jr. of Kinston and Mark Lee of Cary; and 12 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Herbert and Maggie Miller Lee, along with all of his siblings, Corbitt Lee, John Lee, Herman Lee, Mike Lee, Bobby Lee, Ruth Stogner, Daisy Potter, Hazel Price, Rose McDonald, and Jean McLawhorn.
The family will receive friends on Friday night from 7 until 9 at Tyndall Funeral Home, and at other times at the residence.
Flowers are welcome, or memorial donations may be made to one's favorite charity.
