EDNA J. CREWS

KINSTON -- Edna Jones Crews, 76, of 1794 Maple Leaf Drive, died Saturday at her residence.

She was retired from Caswell Center as a developmental technician and was a member of the Oak Forest Road Church of Christ in Goldsboro.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Howard-Carter Funeral Home with Robert Goff officiating. Burial will follow at Pinelawn Memorial Park.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Cecil Roger and Emmie Whichard Jones.

Survivors include her husband, Raymond Lawton Crews of the home; two daughters, Rhonda Garris and Emmie C. Smith of Kinston; two sons, Cecil Raymond Crews of Deep Run and Thomas Earl Crews of Kinston; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends tonight from 7 until 9 at Howard-Carter Funeral Home and other times at the residence.
