CHRISTINE RADFORD
Christine Sykes Radford, 67, of 607 Mt. Carmel Church Road, Pikeville, died Monday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
The funeral will be held tonight at 7 in the chapel of Howell Funeral Home & Crematory in Goldsboro. The Reverend James Herring will officiate. A graveside service will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. at Wayne Memorial Park. The Reverend Steve Jones will officiate.
Mrs. Radford was born in Wayne County on October 2, 1927, to the late Nathan and Dora Mae Strickland Sykes. She was a member of Belfast Pentecostal Holiness Church and its Ladies Auxiliary.
She is survived by two sons, Mack Talton and wife Mary of Pikeville and Glen Talton and wife Barbara of Pine Level; one daughter, Donna Davis of Goldsboro; eight grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and two sister-in-laws, Catherine Sykes and Frankie Sykes, both of Goldsboro.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Ray Radford.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home following the service tonight, and other times at the residence.
