VIRGINIA YAWN
CLAYTON -- Virginia Biddix Yawn, 74, formerly of Wayne County, died Sunday, April 17.
The funeral was held on Tuesday, April 19, at Everett Chapel Free Will Baptist Church. The Reverends Charlie Petit, Braxton Carter and Jerry Allen officiated. Burial was in Pinecrest Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Yawn is survived by her husband, Dr. Billy R. Yawn; two sons, Lonnie Yawn and Mark Yawn of Clayton; four daughters, LaVern Carter of Clayton, Michelle Lamm of Wilson, Lisa Parrish of Clayton and Shearae Robinson of Pinkney; one brother, Gene Biddix of Gastonia; one sister, Jo Ann Morgan of Gastonia; and eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
McLaurin Funeral Home in Clayton served the family.
