MARIE H. WIGGINS
A graveside service for Marie Hicks Wiggins, 94, will be held Friday at 11 a.m. at Elmwood Cemetery.
She died Sunday at Duplin General Hospital in Kenansville.
The daughter of the late Faison and Mary Thompson Hicks, she had lived in Washington D.C. for 67 years, where she was employed as a custodian with the federal government. She was the widow of Roosevelt Wiggins and was a member of Mount Calvary Church in Washington.
Her survivors include one daughter, JoAnne Wilson of the home; one sister, Lillie Bowden of Goldsboro; and 12 nieces and 12 nephews.
McIntyre Funeral Home is serving the family.
