LENA SIMMONS
The funeral for Lena Simmons will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at Deeper Life Church Ministries. Apostle Norbert E. Simmons will officiate. Burial will be in the Congregational Cemetery, Dudley.
She is survived by one daughter, Merisha S. Simmons of Goldsboro; one son, Aubrey L. Simmons of Durham; her mother, Georgia "Lena" Simmons of Goldsboro; two brothers, Apostle Norbert (Gwendylon) Simmons of Goldsboro and Pernell (Kathleen) Simmons of Goldsboro; two sisters-in-law, Bessie Simmons of Goldsboro and Emma Neal Simmons of Mount Olive; one uncle, Ernest Jones of Mount Olive; and a host of other nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends.
A viewing will be held today from 2 p.m. until 7 p.m. at McIntyre Funeral Home Ministries, 900 S. George Street.
