ANTWAN LEWIS
The funeral for Jonathan Antwan Lewis, 16, will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at Spring Creek High School. Dr. Curtis Lee will officiate. Burial will be in Cobbs Cemetery.
He was a sophomore at Spring Creek High School, where he was on the football, wrestling and track teams and was a member of the Spring Creek Marching Band. He was a member of Evangelical Fellowship Center in Mount Olive.
He is survived by his parents, Jonathan and Jimmie Lewis; one brother, Jevon Lewis of the home; his paternal grandmother, Ida Lewis of Elizabethtown; three aunts, Lois (Joseph) Melvin of Dudley, Grace (Ronnie) Hicks of Faison, and Ophelia Lesane of Elizabethtown; three uncles, Michael (Brenda) Lewis of Bronx, N.Y., Willie Williams of Goldsboro and Truman Bell of Faison; and his godparents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles (Mamie) Winley of Charlotte.
The family will receive friends at the residence at 225 Beaver Drive, Dudley.
Garris Funeral Home in Mount Olive is serving the family.
