VEYETTE BLIZZARD
KINSTON -- Veyette Thigpen Blizzard, 65, of 1177 Bland Howell Road, died Tuesday at Wake Medical Center in Raleigh.
The funeral will be held Friday at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Garner Funeral Home with the Rev. Roger Jones officiating. Burial will be in Pinelawn Memorial Park.
Mrs. Blizzard worked for over 30 years with Hampton Shirt Factory and was a member of Albritton Pentecostal Holiness Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 41 years, Norman W. Blizzard, and is survived by one daughter, Kaye Hardison of Hookerton; and two sisters, Verdie Lee Foss and Lou Faulk of Mount Olive.
The family will receive friends from 7 until 9 tonight at the funeral home, and other times the residence.
