HATIE M. ATKINSON
Hattie Mae Atkinson, age 101, of 912 Audubon Ave., died Sunday at her home.
A memorial service will be held Friday at 11 a.m. at Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home with Elder Billy Newton and Kimberly Armstrong officiating.
Born in Johnston County, she was the daughter of the late William and Louetta Dobson Atkinson.
She is survived by a daughter, Flora Anderson of Goldsboro; a sister, Cassie Atkinson Exum of Goldsboro; and five grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home immediately following the memorial service, and other times at the residence.
